The dutiful and faithful dog story
Once there was a man in Europe. He used to go hunting with
Bulu, his favorite dog. That man once rode his horse on such an expedition. His
dog followed him. After a few days, that man returned home and felt exhausted.
He jumped off his horse and sat down under a tree. After a while, he woke up
and proceeded toward home. But he forgot to pick up the purse containing the
money. The bag was left there. Bulu noticed it and tried to remind his master
of the bag in many ways but in vain. Finally, the dog pretended to bite the leg
of the horse.
The master misunderstood the dog. He thought that it had gone mad. He at once shot at his favourite dog. Bulu cried with pain and ran back. The master reached home. He found that his money bag was lost. He returned to the spot where he had taken a break. Bulu was found under the tree with the bag in its paws. He assumed the dog was sleeping with the bag. But, to his disappointment, he discovered that the dog was dead. Now everything was clear to the man. He shed bitter tears as he realized the dog's loyalty.

বিশ্বস্ত এবং কর্তব্যপরায়ন কুকুর গল্প
একদা ইউরোপে এক লোক ছিল। সে তার প্রিয় কুকুর বুলুকে নিয়ে শিকারে যেত। সেই লোকটি একবার ঘোড়ায় চড়ে এমন অভিযানে গিয়েছিল। তার কুকুর তাকে অনুসরণ করছিল। কিছু দিন পর, লোকটি বাড়ি ফিরে ক্লান্ত বোধ করল। সে তার ঘোড়া থেকে লাফ দিয়ে একটি গাছের নিচে বসল। কিছুক্ষণ পর ঘুম ভাঙল এবং বাড়ির দিকে রওনা দিল। কিন্তু টাকা সম্বলিত পার্স নিতে ভুলে যান তিনি। ব্যাগটি সেখানেই পড়ে রইল। বুলু সেটা লক্ষ্য করে তার কর্তাকে নানাভাবে ব্যাগের কথা মনে করিয়ে দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করেও বৃথা হয়েছিল। অবশেষে কুকুরটি ঘোড়ার পা কামড়ানোর ভান করল।
লোকটি কুকুরটিকে ভুল বুঝলেন। তিনি ভেবেছিলেন যে এটি পাগল হয়ে গেছে। সে সাথে সাথে তার প্রিয় কুকুরটিকে গুলি করে। বুলু ব্যাথায় কেঁদে দৌড়ে ফিরে গেল। মাষ্টার বাড়ি পৌঁছে গেলেন। তিনি দেখতে পান তার টাকার ব্যাগ হারিয়ে গেছে। তিনি যেখানে বিরতি নিয়েছিলেন সেখানে ফিরে আসেন। বুলুকে পাওয়া গেল গাছের তলায় ব্যাগ নিয়ে। তিনি ধরে নিলেন কুকুরটি ব্যাগ নিয়ে ঘুমাচ্ছে। কিন্তু, তার দুঃখ হল, তিনি দেখলেন যে কুকুরটি মারা গেছে। এখন লোকটির কাছে সবকিছু পরিষ্কার হয়ে গেল। কুকুরের আনুগত্য বুঝতে পেরে তিনি তিক্ত চোখের জল ফেললেন।
